In this short documentary, I visit Ittoen in Yamashina, Kyoto: The Garden of Light—a unique intentional community founded on the principles of service, humility, and communal living.
I am joined by Emmet from Australia, who at the time was the only Westerner living and working in the community. Emmet offers a rare, first-hand look at what it is actually like to navigate daily life in a society where “nobody gets paid, but nobody pays for anything.”
Mama Zebra Memorial Fund invited five Maasai from Maasai Mara to Sweden to help with fund raising. The fund is helping the Maasai children to get education.
